wiring DVC 4 ohms in series?

can somebody tell me what the blue cables are?

is it just another regular cable?

can i use the 3 inch jumper cables i got with my type r's?

do the jumper cables do the same thing as regular cables?

The blue cable is another piece of wire in the first diagram as is the green cable in the second diagram.

you need to use speaker wire.

wire that series parallel (speakers in series | VC parallel) for a 1ohm load if your amp can handle it

what you suggested 2+2=4 R= 4ohm not 1ohm

it should be parallel/parallel (speakers in parallel | VC parallel) would present a 1ohm load

1/R+1/R=1/R,

1/2+1/2=1/1 R=1

DVC4 sub wired in parallel = 1/4*2 = .5ohm

2xDVC4 subs wired in series = .5*2 = 1ohm

That amp can handle a 1ohm load. there is only 1 channel. But, two sets of speaker posts. You should use only 1 set of posts.

one question how do you get .5 ohm load out of a single 4ohm DVC sub

last i checked a single DVC 4ohm sub can only give you a load of 2ohm(coils wired in parallel) or 8ohm(coils wired in series)
