wiring duel voice coil question

I know this has been answered before but I have so far only have tried wiring my 1 dvc sub in parallel to my amp which can support a 1 ohm load if I was to hook up two subs to it.

My question, what differences if any would I hear if I wired it in series? Could or would it have any better sq?

I was with you all the way until you said wiring up two subs. Are you asking about wiring two subs in series? If so, your final impedance would be 4x what it is now, and your amplifier output would be 1/4 of its current output. Yes, damping factor would increase, but imo the loss power would be more detrimental to transient response than would the increase in damping that probably ouldnt even be noticeable to begin with.
