Wiring different subs to the same amp?

well i would keep the W7 but its not as loud as my type R's.. if i got 2 12w7s on like 1500 RMS do you think it would be better than the type r's spl wise? i know sq will destroy them

depends on the enclosures and power for each setup.

well at the moment i have my type R's running at about 2000 wrms and the enclosures would both be pretty similar if i were to get another w7. I would look for a different amp too, Been looking at ap30001d and ap15001d

doesn't matter if the enclosure is similar or not....it is if the enclosure is built for the driver.

yeah i meant that i would have the reccomended volume for both of them and i would tune to 32hz

id just stick with the Rs do you have them in ported box? i had mine in 4 cubes at 32hz off 2k hifonics amp and it was nice and loud

yeah i made the box i think its like 1.9 cu ft or something like that (per sub) and tuned to 32 hz.. my amp is just a piece of shit.. my dad bought it from best buy.. (sold my zx1000.1 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif ) its pa bamf 55000... claims 3200wrms @ 1 ohm so its probably more like 2000wrms which still is good for the type rs

if you want spl get some of the fi btls, if you want spl with a little bit of sq, get the biggest dc sub(s) you can afford.

no i dont have the receipt but i can ask him. he got it from this car audio place like 30 min away from me
