first can this be done .... its a 2channel amp (look at pic)

second ... dividing the signal

note: the RCAs are going to the Front RCA output of my HU

going to set the highpass on my HU to 80hz

since bridge operates in mono ... could i set the low pass to 250hz (w/e the max is) ... so it will play 80hz - 250hz

then for stereo ... would it play the componets at 80hz - 20k hz

Depends upon what amp you have. Some can run three way like you described. But none will do what you want with the crossovers. Every amp I have seen that is capable of running tri-mode or what ever they call it, needed passive crossovers for everything. yea my amp is try mode but how would i set up passive cross overs ?

i thought since its bridged mono it would work on the low pass and the the stereo would work on the highpass

No sir, when running tri mode consisting of subs and comps. You must turn off the crossovers on the amp, so that your amplifying the full range. Then the passive crossovers do the work. oh and i dunno if you mis understood me but ive seen infinity makes components that are 2 ohm .... i was askin if i plug 2 set of components to 1 channel .. makin the amp run at 2 ohms ... would the speakers operate the same (excluding the .5% more distorition from runnin at lower ohms)

with an XXX 18 i would think that u would have to have a hell of a midbass driver to even be able tell that it is there....
