Wiring/cd player problems

I recently replaced my stock speakers and cd player in my 98 grand prix. I havent changed anything other that that. I dont have a sub or an amp. My problems is that when i turn the volume past about 60% the cd player's safety mech goes off and its tell me to check the wiring and reset it. But as long as i do not cross that threshold its works perfectly fine

 
dont cross that line then? Check your wiring like it has asked you to, it would say that for a reason i bet something is grounding or similar.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.

Yup , the dsp should have input sections, it may have one for sub? Hu to dsp. Dsp to amps, amps to speakers. Probably help you to draw this all...
