Wiring CD player help

I'm installing a CD player in my friends 99 Blazer and he or whoever had it before really messed up everything by cutting the stock harness and its all bare wire which i have to deal with. Huge mess.

I can get the CD player to power on and 1 speaker to work but the rest of it is hopeless. Is there anyway to ID the + and - for each speaker besides through color. The Blazer has 3 dark green wires and 3 blue wires so its not easy to tell which is which. i have a DMM if that would work. Also I know if I take out the speakers I could see the colors but that is a last ditch resort.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.

Yes there are a few ways to fix this.

you can take each speaker out and look at the colors of the wires. If by chance these are different then you have in the dash, you can get a DMM and some speaker wire and check each wire the DMM.

I personally would make it much easier, get a factory harness from a junk hard and wire the radio up right.

PS they wires have to be different in some way look close at them. some of the darker ones will be hard to see the black strip but its there.

Yea I want to get the harness from the junk yard but thats not an option I guess. And nope the wires aren't any dif color. Its really some BS

And how would I check the speaker wires with a DMM?

I've got that only theres a pretty major problem, it doesn't match up. The switched 12V+ is actually orange and there are 2 dark green wires and like 3 dark blue wires, no black stripes, nothing. It's pretty messed up. I'm kicking myself for helping my friend out cuz its a huge mess in the dash there were tons of wires just twisted together. Basically all I've found using a test light is the groud, 12V+ constant and the switched. Otherwise I have no idea what is what back there.

just start trying the wires one at a time and see which speaker comes on?

me and my bro were gonna have to do that for his colorado cause we spliced in the wires instead of a harness (quick connects instead) but i found a wire diagram.

Just don't wanna do that in case there is some power running through there or it grounds it out and blows the amp inside.

Get a 9v batt. Once you know which are power, ground and switched 12v, tape those off and label them. Then put one of the remaining wires on the 9v and touch each of the rest of the wires 1 at a time until you hear a pop. Have your friend find the speaker while you keep popping it. Then label those two wires for which speaker it is and you're good. If you can see it, you will be able to tell polarity based on whether the speaker moves in or out.
