wiring capabillity with bats and amp

i currently have a stock battery and a kinetik 2400 and well i need to replace my stock battery and i was wondering if i should just get another 2400 or get the 16v kinetik? or should i switch it and have the 2400 as my main and a 16v as my sub bat? can the kicker zx2500 handle the 16 volts? also, with the setup i have currently, should i parallel the batteries like this= stock bat + to the kinetik + and the kinetik ground to the stock battery ground post than from the stock batt post to the frame or should i just ground the kinetik independently to the frame? thanx

dont go 16v you dont have the charging capabilities, keep a 2400 in the trunk, and get the biggest kinetik you can fit under the hood

16 volts requires either a 16+ alternator or special charger. Usually not a good idea for daily driving.

either way is acceptable though I usually run mine to the front.

If your stock battery is in the trunk than yes go ahead and ground it there.

Make sure you also upgrade your factory grounds.
