Wiring and install question

you wire the sub in series meaning wire positive coil 1 to negative coil 2 them them take neg. coil 1 to neg on amp and pos. on coil 2 to pos on amp

so if i wired it up the way that link says, would the amp be bridged because its wired to the positive of one channel and the negative of the other channel?
Yes the amp will be in mono/bridged mode..just be sure to set your switch from HPF to LPF and turn bass boost down to zero, and gains down and adjust accordingly

what is hpf and lpf? and it would only be putting out 140 more watts than the subs rms when bridged. why would i have to turn everything down?
High pass filter, and low pass filter...you will be generation more power going into mono/bridged mode...i say turn your gains down due to clipping/and or possibly damaging your subs just by a flip of a switch..deff a precaution measure to take/consider

I couldnt find anywhere specs wise that the amp is 2 ohms mono stable..just 2 ohms x2 in stereo stable, and 4 ohms mono/bridged stable..may need to call the manufacture to get the answer on that to run 2 ohms stable mono/bridged, and also look at your pamphlet/specs booklet..I cant find that..i would say its not by specs ive googled up,so i wouldnt try it,you can damage the amplifier/and or your subs too

I think i pretty much know how to do it now. Looked up a few diagrams and i understand em for the most part. But someone give me a definite answer, u can wire a 2 ohm sub to a 4 ohm load without hurting it right?

HUH?

u have a 2ohm Dual Voice Coil sub. u have two (2) voice coils in your sub that are a 2 ohm resistance EACH! THE SUB IS THE LOAD

You wire both voice coils in series to create a 4ohm load to the bridged amp.

I agree with every one above. OFC is much better. Copper is a much better conductor than aluminum.
