I am finishing up my audio system and want to make sure I have my wiring correct.
I have a set of CDT crossovers and they have a screw/plate type terminal. When installing the speaker wire to the terminal, do I have to use a connector or just the stripped part of the wire enough?
Also, I have a pair of Elemental Designs 9kV.2 w/ dual 4ohm voicecoils; wiring them like the diagram I take one run of speaker cable connect the (+ -) and connect them both to the (+) on the amp and them run (+ -) each to a (+) post on each sub / I take one run of speaker cable connect the (+ -) and connect them both to the (-) on the amp and them run (+ -) each to a (-) post on each sub.
Am I good to start connecting?
