Well I used to do this kinda stuff all day long but when it comes to the subs, I can't remember much.
So I came upon some Audiobahn Dub 100's, and the came in a ported box that is probably a bit small. After removing the speakers to get an exact model # I realized they were DVC's and the 'uneducated' who put them in there had only been running SVC!
Since I didn't plan on getting these and already had a amp handy I figured I would rather have more bass, so my 6x9's were disconnected.
So I ran them.. I can't recall the name... + / - from the amp goes + / - to both coils on each speaker. After that it was a bit louder vs SVC, but it sounds muddy over 90-100hz, as it did with SVC.
I know the box is an issue, mostly we listen to either Hardstyle or Black Metal, that alone will be hard to find even ground on, so mainly I guess I will be after more of a punchy setup.
Wiring suggestions for my current amp are appreciated, note the front channel is for my front speakers so can't get too creative. And I am open to suggestions on a good amp for these speakers. I will need to get one sometime next month, or this month if things go awesomely.
Thanks!
