Wiring 4 RE8s to 1ohm?

Im sure there are more than 2 ways to wire 4 d4 coil subs like rockfords site shows. Would parrallel/series wiring achieve a 1ohm load? And to wire this way you take the + from one vc and connect it to the - of the other vc on each sub...then you connect the remaining + to the + on the amp and the remaining - to the - on the amp? Just want to be sure before I buy them.

Each dual 4 can be wired for 2 or 8 ohms.

With 2 d4's, you can wire it 1, 4, or 16 ohms.

With 4 d4's, you can wire it for .5, 2, 8, 32 ohms.

Knowing that, you'd want an amp that'll put out it's maximum wrms at those given impedances.
