wiring 2 subs into 1 ohm

If it's a mono amp, hook up both +'s to the + terminals and both -'s to the - terminals. Most mono amps (again, read your manual for confirmation) are internally bridged (ie, they are not stereo). The pairs of outputs (++--) are there for easy hookup. Hooking up one speaker to +- and another speaker to the remaining +- will give you your 1 Ohm load (the amp parallels the connections).

 
most mono block amps that have more then one postive and negative are uselly link in the inside of the amp so you should be able to just hook the woofer postive to amp postive ect. it may just be amp idk

maybe he dont have a owners manual www. kenwoodusa.com look up owners manuals it would not load 4 me gl.............. srim how should he run it then
i didnt have the owners manual either but got it from the site in about two seconds. when i read the manual it shows that the wiring is the same as my JBL BPX . its a mono but is internally wired like a 2 channel. if you are running

did we ever get a clear answer on if he did kill his alt or was he just stupid and testing with the car off?
