Wiring (2) RE SX 12's

Got a question about wiring the RE SX 12's up to an Orion 2500d. Should i wire them them straight up to the amp cause it has two bays, a speaker on each sub which will have them at 2 ohms each right? Or should i wire them together to get a .5 ohm setup. Will they be ok recieving so much power at .5 ohm dont want to fry them but want it to be loud. Its going into a ported box which is about 32HZ i believe

what does 1 impedence mean. Will my amp give me 2 ohms of each bay if the subs are two ohms and there hooked up to its own bay off the 2500d

I dont know how the amp will like .5 daily, but I wouldnt do it.

The best thing to do, is to wire each sub in paralell, then when they are both wired like that, wire the subs to series.

That will give you a 2 ohm load on the amp

People keep saying that the 2500d will do .5 daily. Im hoping. Ill adjust the gains, But we will see.
