Wiring 2 ohm sub to mono 2 ohm stable amp

You have three options.
1) Wire the existing sub to 4 ohms

2) Buy a new sub (get the Dual 4 ohm model)

3) Buy a new amp that is stable to 1 ohm

That's pretty much it little buddy.

Ding! Ding! Ding! We haaaaave a winner!

The possible upside to all this is that his amp will give him 500w @ 4 Ohms. While not nearly all that his 15" Solo will take shouldn't it still be enough to get it going decently until he can do something different? All in all 500w isn't peanuts, ya know...

I have the same amp with same problem..i have 3 dual 6's i can only wire them to a 1 or 4 ohm load..i wired it to a 4 ohm load..i bump all day long without burning it up..works for me...i work get a new sub that you can run it to 2 ohm..but manuals say its best to run them at the lowest ohm load the amp will accept
