Wiring 2 Memphis 1000D's to a 15" XXX

I havent made the purchase of any of these products yet but Im waitin til I figure it all out first thats why im askin questions. Anyways Im buying a XXX 15" and i was thinkin of wiring 2 1000D's to it now what would I have to the sub be DVC 2 or 4 ohm? the amp pushes 1000 watts at 1ohm. Sorry if I sound like a n00b but Im attempting to learn. Thanks in Advance

DVC2 will wire down to one ohm with no problem on the 2500d. that would be my choice

15XXX + 2500d + ported @30hz with 2.5~3.5cubes = loud as fcuk.

im going to be fiberglassing it into the back of my focus so its gonna take a little bit of work. so what would you recomend for the 15 2ohm DVC or 4ohm DVC? and will the XXX be able to handle that much power daily?

Ok, here's the thing with the xxx and two amps: The xxx comes standard dual 2 ohm so you'd need 2 amps that could put out power at 2 ohms. You could also get it, for more money, in quad 2 ohm coils, or quad 1 ohm coils...in which case you would probably do quad 2's and wire 2 coils in parallel to each amp driving 1100 watts to both pairs.

If you're stuck on the amps, then I would ask yourself if you'd be happy with 1100 watts to an XXX, which is plenty in the right box. If the answer is yes, then you could get away with a single amp and a dual 2 ohm driver. If the answer is no, then you're going to have to do one of two things. First, you could buy 2 amps and upgrade the sub to quad 2's. Second, you could look into different amps. The reason you would have to upgrade the sub from dual 2's is that you'd only be getting 600 watts out of each amp for 1200 total, compared to the 1100 you'd have just running one amp.

Hope this makes sense, I'm kinda tired, but ask questions if you don't understand.

it makes some sense, so if i got in quad 2ohms or 1ohms I could run the orion 2500 D at 1ohm? correct or am i just retarded haha

I ended up just goin with the 2ohm DVC 15" because 2500 watts would be alot for daily use because I did a lil research on that amp and it pushes alot of power.
