wires running through port

does it affect anything if i run my speaker wires to my sub from inside the box and run them out of the port so i dont have to drill holes?

Why not get two bolts and some nuts, drill 2 holes on the side bolt up or solder the inside leads then bult on the outside leads to the amp. Cheap, effective, and much better looking.

No harm in daily type setups. Can cause a little turbulance in the port. I only hate it when i see big wired hanging out of 4" aero ports. (slap yourself on the head if you do that)
