i dont think its actually illegal or "stealing" to borrow someones internet connection if they are unprotected. most people arent that stupid tho.

And then if I recall there was some other comments from the peanut gallery (the collective group here at CA.com).

If I remember right, the dude dreamed about being Hefner last night, which would mean, that in all reality, he did dream about having more than $8000 a month.

I am just here pissing in the pool, my comment was meant less than to poke you in the eye about making $8000 a month (which in all reality and rough estimates is only ~$130,000 a year, which, while it is far above poverty level, these days is not a huge amount of money to make a statement such as "...ever dream of having").

My comment was meant to let people know that there are court cases out there setting precendence and at some point in time, somebody who is "wardriving" may get caught and possibly made an example out of (can anybody say Napster).

Ya so I did say I make money, but when did I say to do what I say and bow to me or whatever the hell you said. So who the hell cares I make the money and almost monthly am getting more and more. But I am nowhere near the top of the money chain and I know that so if you want to bow to me then by all means do it, but whatever I am not going to fight with you really you are not worth the time

SO if your truck was parked in front of your house unlocked. I needed milk but didnt want to waste my gas. I hot wired your car and got the milk, put it back exactly where I found it, didnt break anyhting while hot wiring it. And you were only out gas and a few miles on the vehicle you wouldnt be mad? I see this as the exact same thing as the internet. It may be unlocked, you may not be hurting my stuff. You are however still stealing something that I pay for and you are using my bandwith (just like the miles and gas with the car).

that analogy is flawed also unless his internet degraded with use AND he was on per day/week/month/etc transfer limit cap.

I don't steal anything well except satellite. I will continue to only be "stealing one thing and that is satellite

i find it highly unlikly u steal satellite ......mainly due to the cost it would take for you to be able to manipulate the access card to allow you to be able to access the satellite signal .......

umm its called a burnt card for the canadian dish and a bootstrap for the american dish... cost me 75 bucks for a burner free downloadable updates and another 10-20 bucks for the cards. Both systems are down right now so I am paying for canadian TV at the moment

Yea It Is Extremely Easy To Steal Satellite. I Have Seen Many People Do It And They Have Every Station Even All The Pay Per View And Pornos, It Was Pretty Badass
