About to give up with this piece of shit.
I had it configured at one location and it was working just fine.
I'm now at a new location and want to use it here.
Plugged the wireless router in, plugged the internet connection into it, then turned the wireless switch to 'on' on my laptop.
Go to the available internet connections page and find "linksys" ... which I'm sure is mine because the rest of the connections listed have their own usernames and the signal strength is not great.
Try to connect to that "linksys" connection and it asks me for a password. The last time it was set up the name of the network was not "linksys" ... a password showed up in both of the boxes so I just used that one (which I'm sure is the same as the one from the other network name).
Guess I should mention that the old location and the new location both use the same ISP, however, the lines are different (IE: the line at the old location still exists, this is a brand new line in a different name) ... don't know if that makes any difference or not.
It's stuck trying to "acquire the network address" and I'm lost.
Any insight? Thanks in advance.
