if theyre available read the instructions first as some of the cards ive installed suggest installing the software for them first, then turning the computer off and installing the card into any available pci slot then turning the computer back on and when windows(Im assuming youre running windows) pops up with the found new hardware wizard, point it to the software that was previously installed and it should be good to go, at least thats how it is with the linksys cards

yep thanks guys i have a new wireless g linksys card. i got it all installed and workin tho so.
