i know you can get a 4ohm load with svc subs useing the series/parallel method but has anyone useed this to wire regular speakers?in my setup i have a 61/2 midbass in the door,a 51/2 midbass in the dash and 2 tweeters on the a pilers(this setup is on the right and left)but my problem is the only way to get them loud enough for my likeing was to bridge my 4channel to a 2channal but now im running it at a way to low of a ohm load for it to handel,so will changing to a series/parallel be helpful or will it sound like crap:crying:

Sounds like you simply need a more powerful amplifier.

However, wiring speakers works essentially the same way as wiring subwoofers. Wiring in parallel halves the load, wiring in series doubles the load. But things get tricky if using passive crossovers and such.

What speakers are you using, and how are they presently wired? As in....are the two 6.5" and 5.25" speakers midbass only or co-axials? If they are component speakers how do you have them crossed (passive crossover?)? Are all of the speakers ran off of a single passive xover?

Full details on the wiring, how the speakers are setup, what speakers you're using, etc will be handy info to know here.
