wireing 13w7 to 2 500/1s

im getting a 13w7 soon and i have a 500/1 from my old system and i know i cant get alot for it because a fine snapped off but it still performs great so im just planning on buing another 500/1 to wire them to the sub to you put 0ne amp to one connection and the other amp to the other connector on the other side of the sub. will that be the same as running a 1000/1 to it?

you could connect each amp to a voice coil. if its a JL 500/1, i think they are capable of being connected to eachother some how, look at your manual.

it says not to connect them but if i run 1 500/1 to 1 voice coil and the other to the othervoice coil then will that be the same as runiing a 1000/1 to it

no, jl goes on about how the 1000/1 is superior somehow (beyond the fact that you have to gain match and all that bs)
