wire size for 1000W?

its going to be for 2 12" CVRs what size speaker wire should i use? the wire guide says 10 gauge, but the kit comes with 16 gauge, should i go buy the 10 gauge instead?

i would do 10 guage if you had one wire shared by both woofers.

14 if you ran a wire to each woofer

and 16 if you ran it to each voicecoil individually.

Assuming their d4 subs.

10 is too big for some 12's and a 1000 watts. 12 would be fine, and 14 would even work pretty well

yes they are dvc 4 ohm. ok, so that defeats of the whole purpose of the kit that comes with speaker wire >.
