i just put a set of cerwin vega 8" subs in my truck runing off a sony xplod amp and i have them runing off 16 gage wire... is that to small? also i want to hook the amp up to my pheonix gold rsd 6.5 speakers, how do i do that ? do i justr run a wire from the and to the neg and positive on the speaker ? thanx

16 gauge speaker wire is fine. u can run the wires neg and positive to speaker or u can pull it off the wires from the harness and mount the amp upfront or under a seat

Is it a four channel amp? If not do not run all the speakers off the amp. It is possible if the subs are 8 ohms but it still wouldnt probably be enough power.

If it a four channel and stable enough than it is also fine.

But we are going to need more info.

I think you will be just fine to be honest. Id run it and check it after hammering on it quite a bit and check the temp on the wire by hand to see...

the AVIC was a tad more complicated to wire not to mention stuffing it in a smallish stereo hole. thanks for advice.
