Wire for toggle switch/voltage meter???

What do you all use for voltage meter wiring and toggle switch wiring?

I guess what im asking is where is a good place to buy small small wire in bulk for these types of things? i have a voltage meter and a couple toggle switches to wire up, but i dont want to spend a stupid amount of $$$ at lowe's on their wire.

i use 14 ga. primary . . bought it from autozone . .prolly get it online cheaper tho . .

hmmmm, i have 100ft of 16awg speaker wire sitting here not being used, maybe i'll just use that.
