I’ll give an example: Why is it light outside? BECAUSE the sun is overhead and there is no cloud cover.

Nobody said you can't do it. What is being said is that it is technically inaccurate. Like you stated, one family HAS 2 kids the other HAS 3. Just because your math shows an average doesn't now make it true that the first family gained half a child while the second lost half a child. Your average is only useful for lazy people simplifying numbers or for nefarious means.

I quoted your words verbatim. There is absolutely no denying that. If you deny it, you are showing that you don’t know what a quote is, or that you don’t know what verbatim means, or both.

Go look at the quote again. When you are done, tell us where I altered your words, or that the words were not verbatim.

No special meanings needed. Just because you grew up with limited interactions with other people and the way they can and do speak does not mean they are special meanings, made up definitions or any other terms you want to use because you lack social skills or knowledge. Furthermore just because you are unaware of other ways of speaking does not mean they are unaccepted or improper. It's arrogant of you to speak down to anyone because you are ignorant of the English language.
