How is that even debatable????
Well, it seems like some in our gov don’t want NATO to overrule our laws where congress is supposed to declare war for us to go into one…lol…like they ever do that 🤣

We can’t let anyone outside of our nation determine who we go to war with, IMO. That’s a very slippery slope.

‘Paul noted that while NATO members are required to assist each other in the event of an attack, military action is not mandated. "Furthermore, Article 11 of the NATO Treaty states that the provisions of the Treaty are to be carried out in accordance with each country’s respective constitutional processes," he wrote.’

Still not debatable IMHO.

‘She presented a program at the World Economic Forum in Davos called “The Battle for Your Brain,” and promises the tech used to decode brain waves already exists – and is being used.’

‘“When you combine brainwave activity together with other forms of surveillance technology, the power becomes quite precise.”’

When it's wealthy corporations or banks making risky investments and business decisions, it's usually up to the taxpayers bail them out. I don't see why it would be any different when it come to their recreational activities. Work hard, play hard and let the tax payers foot the bills.

If you made the rich people pay the bill, where do you draw the line at who's wealthy? Using the ocean as the example, if they have to rescue someone in a 50 million dollar yacht, they can probably afford the rescue. What about the guy in the 300,000 wakeboard boat. A lot of people will say they're wealthy, but can they afford a rescue? How about the average 10k bayliner? The guys got a boat, must be rich. But then loses his house paying for a rescue. It's an interesting line to draw.
Btw I would like to see the rich held accountable for their search and rescue, it's just really hard to decide when that happens.

I'm saying they shouldn't be held accountable. They're not held accountable anywhere else in society. They aren't held accountable in the legal system (remember the kid who plead that affluence made him irresponsible and he only got probation for killing 4 people?) They're treated differently by the IRS and pay greatly reduced tax rates. When Hedge Funds are on the verge of collapse due to high risk investing, good old Uncle Sam steps in with a hand out. We bail out corporations regularly. Why should it be any different if Bezos Mega Yacht sinks? As a matter of fact, rather than worry about why the rich aren't paying for their recues, I'd say we should worry about why the rich aren't paying their taxes.

‘“There's no time in American history or human history that kids were going to shoot schools and shooting their classmates,” he said in the interview provided to Secrets.

But he said that changed with the use of depressants or selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors such as Prozac and Zoloft and violent video games.

“It really started happening co-terminus with the introduction of these drugs, with Prozac and the other drugs,” he said on the show.’
