I didn't know <6th grade girls discussing their periods was a big issue, but maybe it is in Florida. But the line below about gender being unchangeable is a little odd. Clearly gender is changeable, google it, there are all sorts of crazy pics about how it's done, etc, etc, etc. That genie is already out of the bottle. Teaching kids lies about gender mutability is only going to foster mistrust in the educational system.

In addition to limiting *** education, McClain’s bill would require schools to teach that “*** is determined by biology and reproductive function at birth” and “these reproductive roles are binary, stable, and unchangeable.” The legislation also requires all educational materials be approved by the state Department of Education and allows parents to limit library books that their children have access to.

Division really seems what the leadership in both parties are going for...and way too many people are willing to blindly follow along...

Agreed! Unfortunately, it seems the middle/center is gone.

'According to the announcement, power beaming is a way to deliver energy in the form of electromagnetic waves that do not require transporting mass alongside them, so energy can be sent almost instantaneously. This method has been proven achievable on the ground and is now being tested in space. Specifically, it will explore the challenges for power beaming and its viability in space applications, as well as highlight the possibilities for using power beaming to address Earth’s energy challenges.'

'“Power beaming might also be used for distributing power for and around Earth, including from satellites that collect solar energy in space,” Jaffe said. “SWELL is the next step into this new frontier.”'

Honestly I don't think anyone should care in any way over a flag that has nothing to do with the present day...but why would anyone pass up a reason to be a victim these days
What does the flag represent for the people who want to fly it? Should be the question.
Just like any other public display such as that. If it’s totally meaningless, then it shouldn’t be so important to the people who want to fly it.

I'd say gov't buildings should probably stick to gov't flags - ie the State and American flag - not the Confederate flag, not the LGBTQxyz flag, etc. Nevertheless, it's not so much what flag or flags he felt were acceptable, but his excuse of "Opps, I filed that bill on accident." If you're cool with the flying the Confederate flag, then stand by it!

I agree about govt flag only but I also think people need to get over looking for a reason to be a "victim"

The excuse is stupid but plausible depending on if it was buried inside a bill...politicians dont read what they sign anymore...

I just don't see flying the flag of the "country" you defeated outside your gov't buildings. We sure as fudge aren't flying British flags outside our gov't buildings. The Mexican flag doesn't fly outside gov't buildings in former Mexican territory.

I agree. The confederate flag is not a government flag and shouldn’t be flown over a government building any more than a BLM flag should. When you go to the south even black people fly that flag quite often. It’s a symbol of independence for some and a symbol of racism for others. People in the city care more than anyone else. Makes me remember that scene in The Dukes of Hazzard movie where they went to the city and everyone was screaming at them before they realized the rebel flag was on top of the car.

I agree there are way too many victims out there.

It was his bill, so kinda hard to go with the I didn't know what was in there defense.
