There you go again, misunderstanding the simplest of things, and then shouting your superiority from the rooftops. IQ is FAR more than just "reasoning ability". Read closely, and learn:
Intellect IS "the faculty of reasoning". They are synonomous. It's incorrect to say
"measurement of a persons reasoning ability and not the actual intellect" as they are the
same thing.
As for "being that IQ is a measurement of a persons reasoning ability", you are also wrong. IQ is a measure of INTELLIGENCE. For Chrissake, it's part of the NAME! "Intelligence Quotient". You think an. Intelligence Quotient wouldn't be a measure of (wait for it) INTELLIGENCE?
I suppose a Speed Limit is not a rule about (wait for it) SPEED?
"An intelligence quotient (IQ) is a total score derived from a set of standardized tests or subtests designed to assess human intelligence."
"Scores from intelligence tests are estimates of intelligence."
"The abbreviation "IQ" was coined by the psychologist William Stern for the German term Intelligenzquotient, his term for a scoring method for intelligence tests at University of Breslau he advocated in a 1912 book.
"They are also used to study distributions of psychometric intelligence in populations and the correlations between it and other variables.
INTELLIGENCE. 'Weird how that word keeps popping up, huh?
Why do you insist on arguing things you do not comprehend?
