Maybe we should arm the Elementary School age students so they can defend themselves. We are talking about little kids not grown adults.

I shot my first .22 when I was about 6 years old. I was sighting in my Leopold 3.5x scope when I was 10 on “my” .243 Remington bolt action, and killed my first 8 point when I was 10. It was about an 80 yard shot out of a tree stand, and then we hung the deer upside down an gutted him. Iirc that 8 point white tail was about 160-170 pounds.

I’m not trying to be insulting, but I genuinely feel your comment is lacking testosterone. This country was made the best by hard-as-f*ck warriors, and they’d murder the faces of their enemies that tried to keep them from living freely.

I don’t get why people refuse to take life into their own hands. I could drive a 5 speed manual on fairly extreme off road trails when I was 12, like driving a manual, from a standstill, up a very high angle dirt road on the side of a dam. I don’t get this “don’t become a man while you’re young” attitude. That’s the best time to learn how to be a man.

I shot shotguns in real clay target competitions from 9-12th grade, all over middle TN against other local schools. We were well trained and developed a bond between the guys and gals that were all on our active squad that we competed with. We had a blast, and nobody died, and we learned respect for weapons from some of the people and parents who taught us how to grow up all of our young lives. Nothing more beautiful than that.

Ok, How would you have prevented the killing of these people?

Make it a law that you have to ne 21 to buy an AR-15. Why in the World is it legal for an 18 year old to buy an AR-15? You can buy an AR-15 with multiple magazines at age 18 but have to wait until you're 21 to legally buy a beer. Something is wrong with that.

Being told I'm lacking testosterone from someone who has never had kids or a wife is almost comical. And from the same guy who says that my pictures of grown women are "sexually charged". I guess 90% of the American public that wants change lacks testosterone. The answer to a problem with guns will never be more guns. We've already tried that and it doesn't work. Ask yourself why are these types of shootings only happening in the United States of America?

You can join the military at 18 and go to war before you can legally buy beer.

Evil people will do evil things regardless of laws. If someone wants a gun but can’t legally purchase one, they are likely to steal one or just get one on the black market.

My honest opinion is we need to stop giving these horrible acts tv time and instead of putting them in prison, chain them to a tree and let the victim’s families have their vengeance.

I believe in an eye for an eye so I feel they deserve to suffer and death is an actual release.

And you know that will never happen. Try and equate it with DUI's. Since it's the person and not the alcohol's fault then why don't we lower the drinking age to 16? Why do we even have speed limits? Why do we have to wear seatbelts? Maybe we shouldn't have any laws and just hope for the best? Are you for arming all 18 year olds in High School to make things safer? The Republicans answer to a gun problem is more guns or blame the Police.

Republicans always say that if people are armed then they could stop or limit these mass shootings. Wouldn't it make sense to arm our 18 year olds to prevent these shootings in High Schools? I keep being told that the solution to a gun problem is more guns. Let's arm every teacher and every kid over the age of 18. I could've carried for half of my Senior year.

This shooting is horrific and hits close as my kids are in elementary school. But there are so many other factors that came into play other than guns.

I parked my car up front, walked inside and told them who I was with and why (with no company logos on me) and asked if I needed to sign in or have a chaperone. I was told no, go ahead and go to the back to inspect. While inspecting, a maintenance lady opened a side door and kept it open while she was cleaning. Things like that allow these mentally deranged people to wreak havoc.

You think that if the law changed from 18 to 21 that would prevent the killing of people?

Do you think that person could steal a rifle from someone and use it?

Do you think that person could use something else to kill people with?

Again, do you really think the law is going to stop someone from breaking the law?

Why are you focused on the AR-15? Why not focus on nails, plumbing pipes and end caps, knives, SUV's?

It's already illegal to kill people. Restricting tools won't stop people from breaking the law. People could focus on raising their kids with ethics, morals and common sense though.
