Curved ports are not impossible. Not always easy, but not impossible.
It would also double or triple the box price to build curved ports with a slot port using kerf cuts. There aren't many box builders around who could even build it, much less some guy you sent a design to. Not many car audio shops can do a box of that level. It just isn't realistic to design it or build it, unless it's for a super high end build that costs ridiculous money.

Not a pro. That's why I listen to what the pros say.
Unlike some people who "do their own research" and reach unsupported conclusions that contradict what the pros find.

I’ve had long conversations with audio engineers with PHD’s in audio engineering about ported boxes. The way you talk about sound means that you don’t fundamentally understand the nature of air waves.

They fall in the same category as fluid dynamics. Smooth is better.
Share some feedback from any of the PhDs that suggests right angles or severe angles are good for airflow in a port or any other thing where air needs to move freely.
Happy to learn if physics has been altered over the years.

Sorry, I can’t take your “conversations” as evidence. Not when you are reposting “quotes” of Kennedy of words that he’s never spoken. That kills your credibility.

No argument, but that’s not relevant to whether rounded corners etc. makes for better ports.
Not the best analogy, but compromise has a cost: Nitrous will give a good kick, but that stock engine will only take it for so long.
Angular ports are cheaper, but come with sacrificing SQ.
Does it matter if SPL is your only goal? Nope.

The Poopy Pants/Camel Toe admin is falling apart, so now we’re actually talking about car audio haha. Better get away from showing the failures! 🤣🤡
Still believing that debunked shart fantasy? Why you so obsessed with the excretory functions of others? Is it because yours doesn’t work properly?

You couldn't hear the difference by ear between the 2. Angular ports aren't just cheaper, they're required for most builders. In most cities you won't even find a builder skilled enough to do what you describe. Do you realize the level of skill it takes for a builder to kerf cut and design a slot port that curves on both port walls? I bet there are whole states without a person who could design and build that box. Most guys doing SQ competition systems can't even do it.

No argument whatsoever.
