Anything's possible in a thought experiment. However, I'm not sure that reality conforms to Schrodinger's thought experiment because when we open his hypothetical box and the cat is alive, then we know it was alive the moment before. If the cat is dead, there would be ways to measure how long it was dead, but that assumes time exists and time is a human construct. Therefore, since we know the cat will both be dead and alive at some point along the non-existent timeline, the cat is both dead and alive whether we make the observation or not.

Which means it is not “pure energy”. Pure energy as defined has no mass.

You're using a more "Newtonian" version of "pure energy," ie light has no mass and therefore is pure. On a quantum level there is no "pure energy" because there are massless particles. Therefore energy can be both pure and unpure, just like the cat is both alive and dead.

My death experience was only part of the equation. I think you’re using that an excuse, when you really don’t want to know, which is up to you. And just fyi, like always, you can’t escape your body’s physical death, but you don’t die, so it would be wise understand the consequences of your actions while you’re alive here.

"Dying" seems to be a common theme when comes to going to the other side. Alex Jones says Bill Gates & Co, actually do a controlled flatline to visit other dimensions. Almost all religions equate death to leaving this plane for a higher existence. Even you had a near death experience. So death might only be part of the equation, but it certainly seems like the one constant and the biggest part of the equation.

What if you're wrong and I do die with my physical body? Maybe just some of us are beings of pure energy "borrowing" corporeal bodies here on earth. That would explain why some people have out of body experiences while the rest of us are firmly tethered to this dimension. Maybe I'm scheduled to go down a dimension, so I'd be best advised to maximize my time in this dimension. I'd really like to maximize my time with my kids and I certainly don't want to leave my wife to raise them by herself. I tempted fate enough earlier in life as an adrenaline junkie, so I'm happy to live my remaining years playing it safe. If it's possible that time and quantum physics are just human constructs, then it's quite possible that "eternal energy beings" are also a human construct. No matter how I slice up the pie, the risk/reward ratio just doesn't add up for me.

Tethered to this dimension is best way to describe people who are stuck here, some due to young a soul-age, some due to willfully bad actions over many lifetimes. There’s a great truth to beings falling down into this world, into this physical plane, because of their own bad actions. Some even fell below here. That’s really not a good place to be, unless you’re a true sadomasochist.
