Never claimed to be. I'm no physics expert, but I can tell you what a BTU is. I'm no chemistry expert but I can tell you what happens when the pH is too high or low in my pool. I'm no construction expert but I can tell you what happens if you build on a sand foundation.

Aggression is met with aggression. I don't like arguing. I hope that if I am civil to him, he will be civil to me.

BINGO. I tried to stop the aggression with Thx in the past. Told him flat out I will not fire as long as he refrains from firing first.
He couldn't do it.

Funny story: Sent an old friend a funny video. His response was to bring up politics. We debated, then he hurled a personal insult. I said "Knock it off. I don't play that game, but if you want me to, I'm very good at it and can get really fvcking nasty. So, don't do it."
His response: "I'll stop bringing up politics, and I ask that you do the same".

In other words, he is unable to argue/debate/discuss politics without resorting to personal insults.
Pretty disappointing.

Common ground. Those first CDs were insanely funny. They seemed to run out of steam quickly and just fall back on cursing people out.

If it allows a brain dead person to do that, then imagine the mental capacity of someone who can't even manage the task. It's like a grade-schooler failing an open-book test. And being proud of it.

I don't agree with many of Rob's opinions. However, he has become progressively more aggressive since he joined this site. It is natural to become aggressive when cornered.

I am generally conservative, but not to the point where I close my mind to new ideas. The current problem with America is that everyone is so biased that they don't even listen to the other side.

Let's try a different approach: Bring it on Rob! I'll listen to you with an open mind if you reciprocate.

Laundry day, ripping CDs to my server, playing some vintage video games, waiting to see if I will have to shovel, testing out some new earphones and EQ curves, researching a new house sub, reading some Jack Carr (he's no Clancy, but I already read those; and the whole Vince Flynn series).
Relaxing Sunday.

Fair enough.

I had this young customer at my shop who introduced me to it. Jersey boy who could imitate the voice to a "t". You'd almost think Johnny was in the room with you if you didn't know better, and he could riff with his own good lines which made it even funnier than just an imitation.
