the 2020 ruling that you are citing is not about declassifying documents. . . it is about an actual CIA Program that Trump wanted to declassify out of existence.

And if you actually read the 2020 ruling, it goes on to state that there are specific terms in which the POTUS cannot declassify which i addressed already. . . when it deals with Nuclear information because it has dual classification

VerifyThis cited it and of course offered no further citation. I guess that's what I deserve for "trusting" VerifyThis to cite something relevant to matter at hand. That said, I assume you're referring to NYT vs CIA (re: covert training in Syria), which appears to conclude that just because Trump shot his mouth off doesn't mean the program is declassified.

So that said, Trump can actually speak publicly about a classified program but that isn't enough to classify it, but can POTUS can "think documents into declassification?" I doubt it. Since I highly Trump will end up in court on this I suppose we'll never know.

Generally speaking I side with the cops and have no sympathy for criminals who resist arrest and get beat downs. These officers clearly took it way too far. However, it's odd they haven't released the tox report and I'd bet Tyre was on something with the fight he put up.

IMHO going after the police isn't going to solve this problem. There has to be some technology to counteract this trend of running/resisting arrest otherwise society will devolve into lawlessness (which is already happening). Maybe nets fired out of a shotgun, then you toss runners in a cell until they pass out from exhaustion or agree to cooperate.

"Is now???" Wrong verbiage. Russia "has been" engaged in a war, would be more appropriate.

Saying "you highly doubt it" does not change the actual ruling,

The question is not whether the president can spontaneously declassify information . . . the ruling already says he can. READ THE RULING "KID"!

The real debate about all these documents is whether or not Trump was permitted to disclose sensitive security information to who ever he wanted. The left says no. . . but the ruling AGAIN states that the president can over rule his appointees actions because within the executive branch the PRESIDENT is the Boss.

So instead of just being a band wagon boy and ridiculing Trump for the things that he was actually well within his rights to do as a sitting president. . . you should actually educate yourself on what he is ACTUALLY being scrutinized for THEN look at the ruling on his rights as a sitting president before you act like you have an intelligent opinion on the matter.

Especially since you claim you only 'deal in facts' and all.

Here's a quarter if you need one. . . .

The he declassified them with a brain thought defense isn't a very strong argument. I know that none of them will never be charged but they should at least have to stamp them as declassified IMO. Here's an article that delves into the case of a sitting President taking home a **** load of classified documents and then claiming later that he declassified them in his head years ago without telling anybody.

That's fine. Biden thought his trove of docs declassified and Trump thought his docs declassified. And guess what VP's can also declassify docs so Pence thought his docs declassified. They're all in the clear. And we were all making such a big deal out of nothing.

There needs to be a proper procedure to declassify documents and not just a brain thought. That gives anybody a way out if or when they get caught. "I thought in my head to declassify those. I'm innocent."
