Biden screwed the pooch on this one. He should probably be impeached, but the that would mean Trump (also) committed a crime and should face charges.

Was he VP when the documents were moved to his office?
Were the documents reported as soon as they were discovered as still in his possession?
Were the documents requested of him and then he refused to cooperate and return them?
Did he declare them declassified by his “thoughts”?
Did it require an FBI raid on his property to get the documents back?

Here’s what we know about Trump:
He took classified documents from the White House after he had been voted out of office.
He was asked to return all classified documents and refused.
It took an FBI raid of his property to get the documents back due to his refusal to cooperate.
He declared the documents were declassified by his “thoughts”.

Since Thx rarely answers questions. We don't know when he took the docs. I don't think it matters much since he never should have taken them in the first place. I suppose if he took them as POTUS, it could have been done unwittingly since he appears to slip in and out of reality now.

Did he put up a fight and force the FBI's hand - no. I suppose that makes the Biden situation slightly better than Trump's, but it doesn't excuse him.

Has Biden denied having the docs, claimed he unilaterally declassified them, claimed they were planted, etc, etc, etc??? No, no & no. So Biden has handled this situation like an adult, but in the end he still had multiple chaches of classified docs and should be condemned for that.
