If that last word is too big, it means law enforcement was kicking people OUT. LAW enforcement. What happens when LAW enforcement is telling you to do something and you forcefully resist in an environment of anarchists? You can get HURT. Or maybe even KILLED.

I could have swore the DOJ cleared the officer of any wrong doing. And she wasn't unarmed, I seem to remember video of her breeching a barricaded door with a crowd; he would have shot whoever first breeched the barricade. As a matter of fact the only thing that stopped that hostile crowd was the gunshot. You can't let a "combatant" get within arms reach when you have a firearm. IIRC, at that time Congresscritters (whose lives were being verbally threatened) and VP Pence hadn't been evacuated. If the crowd breeched that barricade, they would have had the opportunity to follow thru on their threats to "Hang Mike Pence."

She was unarmed.

That's an interesting comparison. Much like George Floyd's death (while unfortunate) was largely his own doing. Had he chosen differently at any point in time he could have avoided his untimely death. He didn't have to pass counterfeit currency. He didn't have to resist arrest. He didn't have to Fentanyl. When has any good come from resisting arrest? Much like George, Ashli didn't have to go inside the Capitol. Ashli didn't have to lead the charge thru that door. When has it ever been a good idea to approach an officer with a drawn weapon issuing commands not to enter? She was security forces in the Air Force; she had to know breeching barricades is a good way to get shot. Much like a man with a long history of criminal activity should know resisting arrest gets you face down on the ground with a knee in the neck.
