Pay a mortgage, raise a family, have ESI, fund your own retirement. Do it for $9/hr plus tips, minus gas/insurance/maintenance/depreciation.
Then show the rest of us how it’s done.

Provide a thorough accounting, not just your usual “Because I said so” line.
Why, because that is how you think it should be done or is that what a google search told you it should be like?

Right? He’s the one crying over a few cents in gas and delivering pizza and Burger King for a living, but I’m the moron 🤣
🤣😆 When was I ever delivering pizza and Burger King? See, you just say shit to put people down because you think you are better than everyone for some reason. Got a few idiots on a forum to agree with you on a few things so yay you're on top of the world huh. Yes, you are a moron.

Keep trying kid. You were the one mouthing off in the past about me not having a real job.

Your endless ad hominem is nothing more than attempts to put people down.
Failed attempts, but attempts nonetheless.
You constantly do it to others, but are upset if someone does it to you.

Hypocrite.

Back on topic: Tell us how you can do all those grown-up things on $9/hr plus tips, minus expenses.

If I make 6 deliveries an hour and each of those deliveries tip just $5 each that is $30... in one hour plus the $9 per hour flat pay. Rob, Mr. math professor, How much did I make in that hour.

About the same as I would make as a female test pilot in the Air Force: NOTHING, because neither example is realistic.
You’re doubling the average delivery rate and using a peak rate, much like “$1.86” is all you ever paid for gas under Trump.

Tell me your MPG in your Ford Escspe, Your tire cost, your car insurance, your health insurance bill, and the county you are in. I’ll tell you what you make delivering 3 pizzas in an hour.

You really are a dumb shit aren't you.

My example is as real as it gets. For some reason that stings you that a person delivering pizza can earn $39 per hour. There is no delivery rate you jack ***. The customer calls, orders a pizza, pays by card or in cash when the driver arrives. The tip is after the delivery and paid to the driver and get this, can be whatever the customer wants to tip. On average my tips were between $6 and $10 per delivery and I averaged 6 deliveries per hour. This is why I only did it part time during peak hours. 4pm-9pm 5 days a week.

You are the one assuming that just because someone doesn't like the price of gas that it affects them negatively or would leave them destitute some how. YOU are the one making the assumptions and constantly run with your ignorant thoughts like you know all.
Dislike is the result of something impacting you negatively. Unless you are going to lie and say the changes in the cost of gas were a plus for you but you dislike them, the complaint is because it impacts you negatively.
Welcome to the human psyche.

When you set yourself up for life 10 years ago, did you account for changes in the nominal and real price of gas over time, or did you think it would “freeze”?

Maybe something has to impact YOU negatively for you to dislike it. That's not how it works for everyone else just because your brain is wired that way. I can say I dislike the color blue even though it doesn't affect me in any way. Welcome to reality son.

Didn't do shit other than purchase the house and dumped most of the rest the settlement into a ROTH Ira. Because I can still work, I do... though I really don't need too. That doesn't mean I just act ignorant and say fuck all to the cost of goods and services. You don't save money by not caring what shit cost. I am frugal with my money most of the time. I will buy used shit and not think twice about it. I drive used cars not because I have to but because it cost less. Spend less now, live better later. If I die, my child gets it all.
