This is a bad situation:

'"What should NATO do? Eliminate the possibility of Russia using nuclear weapons," Zelensky said in the provocative Thursday remarks. "I once again appeal to the international community, as it was before February 24: preemptive strikes so that they [Russia] know what will happen to them if they use it, and not the other way around."

"Don’t wait for Russia’s nuclear strikes, and then say, ‘Oh, since you did this, take that from us!’ Reconsider the way you apply pressure. This is what NATO should do – reconsider the order in which it applies pressure [on Russia]," the Ukrainian leader added.'

Ukraine attacked a Russian airbase with a kamikaze drone decently far into Russia:

‘The attack took place at the Shaykovka Air Base in the Kaluga Oblast, about 140 miles north of the Ukrainian border and about 170 miles southwest of Moscow.’

So it appears both sides (Russia and Ukraine) like to speak in vague term and then backtrack and say nukes are not an option. IMHO, it's good to see Ukraine is willing to strike within Russian territory. The Ukrainian counter offensive probably should have happened in 2014. Although Ukraine was in a tough position since such an offensive would have probably meant no NATO.

No, I never once said that i work off the clock. I said at times I will work through a scheduled break or an unpaid lunch period. That doesn't by default mean that I am working "off the clock". You simply assume it does due to your inability to see a bigger picture than your feelings.

As I have a flex schedule, it can mean that I am working through the unpaid time, but taking multiple short breaks (like smokers do) to offset and balance the time that i am not taking consecutively. I am required to work x hours per pay period. If I want to skip a lunch and work straight through a day and end early, I can do so so. If I want to work 14 short days in a row, I can do so. If I want to work 4 days on and 3 days off, i can do so.
If I want to skip my lunch and take 3 or 4 short breaks instead, I may do so.

Now that I have shared a bigger picture that you totally failed to see, I am still waiting for you to simply explain the legal ramifications via the justice system for someone breaking this "law" that you claim exists. I'll ask again:
What is the possible punishment via the legal/justice system if a person is "caught" working "off the books" for their employer, and breaking this law you think exists?
Who is in charge of "policing" this law, and how do you get charged/prosecuted with breaking it?

If the law exists the way you are picturing and describing it, the answers should be very simple to provide, just like you could with any other law you might refer to.
If you want me and others here to stop saying you are wrong on this, just prove your claim with facts. Skip the namecalling and the "because I said so" rhetoric.

It's a simple and reasonable request when you make a claim that is contrary to common knowledge or common sense.
STOP. Unpaid lunch, means a lunch taken off the clock. If you are working on that lunch you are working off the clock. It is not rocket science, not a Trump conspiracy... It's just breaking the law. My feelings have nothing to do with it.

This is reminding of Clinton lying about getting a BJ in the WH. Had he just copped to it in the beginning the GOP would have been up in arms over for a week or two and it would faded away. Instead it drug on and on and on... In the end Clinton just couldn't help himself and lie, because that's just how he operated.

Now Trump is following a similar path. At this point isn't it obvious that the DOJ, FBI, CIA (and whoever else) have a master list of documents that Trump failed to turn over while he was in the WH??? But he's just keep playing this game and drag this on forever when this could have been over. I wonder if DeSantis will try to turn this against Trump???

Trump has a DDD defense. Deny, Delay, and Distract. He does it every time.

I think you're wrong; he has a D&D strategy: Deny & Delay. He doesn't really Distract. As a matter of fact he does the opposite of distract, he loves the attention. Trump definitely embraces the "There is no such thing as bad publicity" motto. I wonder if it's a campaign strategy so he play and victim card and continue whining about the "deep state."
