Profiling isn't an exact science...and I'd be more fearful of govt profilers going around checking up on
people...
You guys are bringing me back to a point I made a long time ago. Nobody seems to want Big Brother involved in our 2nd amendment rights but certain people want stricter gun laws. None of which are going to stop a killer from killing.

Why make people pay for the crimes other people commit? How about focusing on the criminals. Bring back public executions. Hangings. Placing people in the stocks and letting people torture them. We are too soft on criminals and you see the results. Everyone else pays while they get 3 hots and a cot.

I think legally you'd have a hard time with torture/stocks, etc. I doubt public hangings will reduce crime; criminals assume they're not getting caught. Personally, I could do without the 2nd amendment nor do I have a problem with big brother being involved in our gun ownership. TBH, I'm sure the profiling, tracking, etc that everybody is worried about is happening behind closed doors anyway. Let's just put our cards on the table and close some of these cracks that people (like Rittenhouse) slip thru.

Considering how bloated and vague the laws are between fed, state, county levels...there's no guarantee that (without knowing or intending to) you haven't committed a felony today or this week...

You’re Sober Unless You Can’t Stand Up

That’s right, no matter how much you’ve had to drink, an old law says you’re still considered to be sober unless you cannot stand up. This law is even weirder when you consider Kentucky’s current drinking and driving laws.

You Shan’t Stink

Ok, this is a law everyone should agree with. All Kentucky citizens are required to shower at least once per year.

Stupid dodo bird clowns:

‘With California’s power grid under strain due to extreme heat and high demand, the utility grid operator is asking residents to avoid charging their electric vehicles. This comes days after the state announced a plan to ban the sale of gas-powered cars by 2035.’

After the Clinton "assault rifle ban" my brother actually contacted ATF. He couldn't buy the AR as he wanted, but it was perfectly legal to modify the AR however he wished as long as he modify to fire full auto.

I'm not willing to give up freedom for safety...a lot of those bad things are blow back for dumb shit our govt has done...

And I'm not a libertarian...I agree with some of what they think but there's too much noise to join the tent...

In the case of Islamic terrorism, we're dependent on oil, so we have to be engaged with the Arab/Islamic world and "shyt will happen."

The problem win libertarianism is works great on paper in an ivory tower (much like socialism or communism). In practice, libertarianism isn't feasible. Unfortunately, people are people and as a species, we're deeply flawed.

We don't need lists or 23 national security agency...or the erosion of our rights and freedoms either...you can try to paint as libertarian if you want...but that's false...you think the mistakes I believe our government made was intervening in foreign affairs (and some of it was)...the real mistakes was showing weakness...the second you put american citizens in harms way for whatever reason...you don't put kid gloves on them...it's always ends up with politicians worried about poll numbers easing off the throttle...we could've ended those terroristic threats by just waging the war they voted for instead of nation building...it could've been over sooner as well...that's the government's mistake and happens at all levels...on all issues...they just half azz everything...then when problems arise...they're used as justification for monitoring everything and making the lists...so I think got me pegged wrong...I'm not an isolationist like a libertarian. ..I just can't stand bullshit policy or policy makers that erode our freedoms in the name of security and safety that they can never provide...

I'm totally with you, if we're going to war, then we need to give it 110% instead of pussyfooting around. That said I don't see how taking a harder approach in Iraq lessens terrorism.
