what's up everyone, i've been tempted to buy a couple of new subs and been thinking about getting a pair of Fi ssd 15's. ok well my question is this. i modeled 1 woofer alone in win isd in a ported box. 4ft^3 tuned to 32hz for daily, i tried the max spl graph with an input power of 1000watts and max spl was 120.something, i know this isn't an in-car simulating and was wondering what kind of numbers i should be expecting in this enclosure with this much power?i know it's not tuned nearly high enough to get some serious numbers, but still 120 doesn't really impress me. maybe i did something wrong with the program, i don't know. any help for a win isd noobie??

well once you take cabingain into account it wll increase your lowend bass output.

go to linear team site. and they have a thread about cabin gain.

Don't use WinISD for that...contrary to what some people may think, there's no substitute for testing out in the real world.

yeah just make about 10 enclosures and use the one you like the best.
