Windows Media Player Problems....

Yesterday I tried to add a couple CD's onto my WMP 11 library, unfortunately it crashed and cleared out my whole library. I do still have the original files.

When I open up the music folder, then drag it into the library, the "working" box pops up and finishes loading but nothing happens. Ive tried a couple other ways but nothing will work.

My question is, how can I fix this shit? Its a pain to open up the folder and then hit play all, especially with a lot of music. This has happened before, but I just switched around. Since then, I have acquired twice the amount I had before, so that isn't an option. It does still play music fine though...

Also, what is a good, more reliable program to use? I'm getting tired of this crap, a program shouldn't crash every few months and wipe out your whole library. No Itunes.

maybe it's corrupted....try going into ur add/remove programs, find it in there and click repair...if u don't see repair, hit uninstall and then i believe an option comes up to repair it...if that dont' work...then i dunno.

Just tried it out before you posted, can't say I like it.

I did like the way WMP looked, but the crashing sucks.

I don't use WMP library. I created my own library and just use WMP as the player.
