window tint!?!?!?

i got a 98' durango, stock tint.

i'm 'blacking out the windows and was going to do 15% on the front windows, and 5% on the back

when i go down to the place should i just have 15% thrown over everything??? as in will the stock tint help darken the aftermarket???

or should i just go 5%?

15% over the stock tint will be like dark as hell. I did that on my jeep and it was like having double limo tint in the back.

awesome, ya i defiently don't want a gay no offense 'mexican tint' with two different tints, or just two that are way off, kinda why i was thinking 15/5, i think that should look alright???

but 15%'s dark as hell over stock and so is 5% ha hmmmmm how dark do i really wanna go lol

it really depends on how dark the stock tinted galss is. My jeep had very dark privacy glass on the rear windows and when we added 15% on top it was like 2.5% tint

Backing up at night in dark places can be a real *****...

15% is not dark. I dont even think my 5% is dark enough...
really depends on your interior/car. my friend has a black interior tsx and there is 15% on the rear and you CAN NOT see through. i have 15% all around and sometimes it looks light depending on where you park if the sun is coming through the windshield.

it's not accurate at all if you say 15% is not dark, because it definitely is

Oh, and 15% is not dark. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif

In my Tacoma 4 Door, I had 15% put over the factory tint in the rear and 5% in the front doors. Matches perfect. Kinda hard to back up at night but NICE in the daytime.

Have them do the front 15%, take a look at how dark it is. If you want the rear darker tell them 5%, if you're satisfied with the front 15%, have the rears 15% as well. But it really does depend on your interior as well.

x2, I'm probably going to double 5 all around and leave my windshield 5%.

I consider anything lighter than 5% "bitch tint" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
