I never said it was legal, its just something that happened back in Glendale, CA

Regardless no lawsuit was filed, guess he figured either way if the cop handed him the razor it would have been the same outcome. A big X on the tint & him needing new tint so just left it at that.

Ive only seen it happen that once & never heard of it again.

I shouldnt have made it sound like all the cops do that, but im sure that wasnt the only time this had happend. Perhaps I should mention the driver (I was in the passenger seat) was driving like an idiot. I guess he aggrivated that cop.

ok i think i'll go to Tritek i called them again they said if i use the 3 yr warranty Onyx it will be around 150 installed. i asked my friend about it he said if u pay him cash to do illegal tint they are not goin to give u a recipt,so u can get a 3yr if its cheaper for u,the only dif between life and 3 is the metal particles that are in the lifetime one. the metal usually blocks cellphones,gps,and AM radio. i said ok i'll get the 3yr one(gps and cellphone reasons not AM radio) so tomarro i plan to get it done 5 all around

i just tinted my windows i got 5% all the way around and i love it. i woulda tinted a strip on the top of my windshield but it has a crack and needs to be replaced.

its never legal to have 5% on ur front windows. but if u want to ride like a G u gotta have 5%tint and be bangin,thats why im gettin 5 all around. but seriouly 5% is not legal anywhere but it keeps a lot of heat out and no thieves can see ur sh!t, what they cant see they dont want. plus u cant break a window with tint. u might be able to but its pretty dam hard.

I want those windows the new audi A8L's have, they're only like 40% tint, but are 99% uv protective, you don't even get cell phone reception in the car, have to have an antenna wired, and they're just short of bullet proof, i think they call them 'shatter proof'

In texas the lowest you can legally go is 25% on any side doors and 5" brow. on the back windshield you can go as low as you want.

no cellphone reception,that is because they put metal particles in the tint to make the tint last much much longer and blocks 10% more heat

I heard that if you have ur window cracked a bit they wont do anything, and also something like if you have the shops card or sticker somewhere they cant give u a ticked cuz it was done professionally??? is that tru?

just roll down your windows if you see a popo around you and drive with two hands on the wheel, plus the seatbelt.

that sucks, its illegal to have any tints on your front windows in IL. That's fukin gay.. I have a black car too, with all around 5% tints, it will look really nice. BUt it will stand out also. It looks stupid to tint all your windows black, and keep your front clear. Looks soo lame. Yet, it says, their is no limit on the back windows and back sides. Who is gonna put tints on the back sides only? It looks stupid!

cops **** where I live... I drove a Mini van for two weeks that was a friends and had a factory tint and they pulled me over a lot asking how dark the tint was.. of course I didn't know because it wasn't my van and it was factory anyways, they kept saying they'd let me off with a warning this time... But it's such a hassle to be pulled over as much as I was...

And whoever said it's illegal for cops to do anything... do you think cops care? I got pulled over 4 times last week, had my vehicle searched twice without my permission. 1 of the times they searched my car, they searched me and emptied my pockets out, handcuffed me, put me in the back of the car, gave me a breathalizer, then let me go with a ticket for failing to use my turn signal... I know that has never happened to anyone before who forgot to use a turn signal... Call to complain, and as long as you don't have the officers name (he conviniently didn't leave his name on the ticket where he was supposed to) there's not much you can do... Cops do what they want to do.
