Johnson tint is what I have on mine and very easy to use if you were to do it yourself. Actually i do know a guy he'll pass me,+ i dont have to worry about it for a year i just got my inspection done last week

has anyone used Charcool [/b ]tint,they say they dont have that metalized finish so ur GPS and cellphone will work fine without desruptions.

I have 5% all around except for the windsheild. I'll post a pic once I get on the other computer here.

It is insanely dark you can't see in at all pretty much. Not sure of the brand but if you are getting it done at a professional shop I wouldnt woory too much. Just get the stuff they use it should be good stuff.

If you go dark you have to worry about cops/inspections. One of my best friends is an inspector at a shop.

You will freak out about cops when you see them during the first few days, but youll get used to it later though and not worry about it.

Nope, Wally World FTL, that tint is actually a little lighter than advertised, plus it can get scratched to shit in no time. And no one wants purple tint 6 months down the road. lol

Johnson is alright, but definitely not the best on the market. Its more a budget tint, but gets the job done.

i wana get tint, but i do not know whats legal and illegal in cali

Cali = NO tint on the front windows. Rear I belive is 5% or maybe even unlimited.

Ive been looking to get mine redone as well. So many choices & people that know people that its getting anoying.

Ive had limo all around before. During the day it rocks, at night cant see a **** thing. Im most likley going to go with 15-20% all around and possibly even do my windsheild 35-50%

I got in a caddy with 35% on the windsheild a yesterday and it wasnt bad at all.

got 30% on mine all around, 3m color stable tint, legal is 27% in colorado which is just about what this meters at. ill go lower in the future, but i can not be pulled over right now...

They will pull you over, pull out a razor/box cutter and slash a big X onto the tint. Leaving it at yout expense (basically a fix it ticket) if your lucky. Either that or they will just write you up.

They will pull you over, pull out a razor/box cutter and slash a big X onto the tint. Leaving it at yout expense (basically a fix it ticket) if your lucky. Either that or they will just write you up.

I was driving with a buddy of mine and he had 5%. We got pulled over and the cop put the tint on his meter, then went back to his car and pulled out a razor blade, handed it to my buddy and said 'get to work, you arent leaving here till you pull all the tint off...' It was pretty hate but looking back its kinda funny.

Budget tint? Show me where it is budget, lol! The guy got rid of lumar to use this and says it lasts longer and is easier to use. He also said it cost more money for him to stock that than lumar but charges more to make up for his cost. Still he is one of the cheaper ones in town. 125 bucks for 8 windows for me, but cause he knows me. Usually it would be about 225 for 8 for anyone else.

FormulaOne film. i have the pinnacle series. (top line) probably the best, and most clearest film imo

35% front 15% rear.

Ive been wanting to get darker tinit on my ride, I think right now I have like 35% all around. I actually want to do something like 5% all around but the cops in TX are ***** and I dont feel like getting pulled over, or being told to scrap it off, like that other story, ive heard a story like that b4.....Ive got a few friends who have their windows 5% all around and they havent had any problems with the po's yet...Ive heard if you have your window cracked a bit they wont do nothing and also something about if you have a logo sticker or some card? of the place that did it, they wont do anything either? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif ....anyone else know or heard of ways to avoid the po po's while having 5% tint?
