Will using 2 rca cables reduce sound quality?

Here's the run down: I'm hooking subwoofers up to my car, and I accidently bought a 3' rca cable. Rather than go through the trouble of returning it for a longer one, would the sound quality be reduced from using 2 cables? (a 3' one, and a 6' gold plated one from a home stereo system) I believe both are around 16-18 gauge.

I would try a pair of Bass Blockers on the rear speakers. I always place them on Coax. speakers generally, Should help quite a bit I like PAC ones...
