Will upgrading my battery while keeping my stock alt help my situation?

I have yet to find a cheap DC clamp ammeter. The AC ones aren't too bad, but DC ones are a lot more expensive iirc
At least ones that can measure 1,000 amps of current. Smaller ones may be cheaper, but i haven't looked.

You're not getting an accurate reading.

Completely off if it's an AC meter. Just saying.

probably, the numbers seemed right though. taramps hd3000 was pulling 190 amps according to the clamp and that's what its rated for, who knows could just be a coincidence lol
