Will this work

I have a JBl 1200.1 and Brahma. I just got a new truck and i dont have the funds for a new alt or battery. I am gonna wire the amp to 4 ohms so it produces 600 watts instead of 1200.Will my 110 amp delphi (new) hold up with 600 watts? I will prolly do big 3 upgrade.I dont want to kill my alt.

it will hold up nicely. just dont stress it too hard(too loud) at low rpms(stoplights) and you shouldn't have a prob. but then again maybe it doesn't matter how low the rpms are. no clue. i dont' even think u'll need the big three.
