I bought a Kenwood Excelon KFC-XW1200F 12" SVC 4 ohm and I bought this amp a Hifonics ZRX1216.1D specs are 1200 watt mono block D class amplifier

1x1200W @ 1-Ohm, 1x600W @ 2-Ohms, 1x400W @ 4-Ohms . I will admit I'm a newb so my question is how do I wire it up for the 4 ohms because the sub is 350 rms 4 ohms. Any help greatly appreciated. Sub is going into a single cab.

Positive terminal on the sub to the positive speaker terminal on the amp. Negative terminal on the sub to the negative speaker terminal on the amp.

Wiring it like he told you will make a 4ohm load.

Ohm's Law, I'm an Electrical Engineer! E=IR, etc. Resistance is generally a fixed thing, the voltage (E) is sort of and the and current (I) is really what varies.
