will this work?

mission:

for $9.00 you might as well try it, it seems fairly convincing with the free replacement and bla bla bla, I don't trust any of that stuff, but for the price it would be worth tryin if you don't know much about motors and increasing hp yourself. if u do buy it, let us know how it works

I personally would (and have) increased my timing.

one problem I have with that thing is the stock ecu has it's timing set for the temp of air that you actually run (and some other unrelated things), trickin it into "thinkin" what air is comin in doesn't do much.

but i say give her a shot anyway, hell you can hardly buy a cd for that much

It's no substitute for proper ECU tuning. Tricking your MAF sensor like that will usually not work; the ECU's current tuning will try to compesate when it finds that the exhaust gas temp is wrong and you might even LOOSE power and eat more gas.

**BEWARE OF AUTOMOTIVE "SNAKE-OIL"**

There are a lot of idiots out there that try to sell cheap tricks that don't really work; in fact, some can screw up your car. Read the performance magazines; they'er always testing new products and will tell you if it is crap. If they don't do an article on it, then it might be bad. If your not sure about a mod for your car, ask your local good tuner shop if it's for real.
