I just purchased 2 PG RSD10's and am planning on building a box with these dimensions: 7" Deep x 39" Long x 14" Wide

If the box is ported, does that make a huge difference in volume/sq? I have heard they get trickier than sealed ones. I am a noob to car audio, so I want to stay as simple as possible.

Ported boxes have the ability to be louder than sealed yet still maintain sound quality. If you want more volume and have the space, ported is a better option.
