i have a 12" sub and my box can only be 13.5" MAYBE 14" high. can i still mount a 12" sub? here are the specs i got on RE.com:

33 wide

13.5 high

12 deep

2" port

9.5" port length

1.997 cu^ft before displacement

35.01 tuning

another question. if i brace each corner with 3/4" mdf, how much displacement would that be?

Well, take each pieces width (multiplied by) height (multiplied by) length and then divide by (12) three times and you'll have the cubic feet that piece takes up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ok thanks. should i do more than the two corners that arent apart of the port?

1" dowell rods //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif.... great for bracing and dont take up a lot of air space //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

You can always feel free to use bigger as well...
